Jayashree‘s unique advantage

Today JAYASHREE is the only company in India which uses the world class patented Technology (Fairford) and manufactures Soft Starters in India. The advantages which the user enjoys while working with JAYASHREE are:-

1. Excellent Tracks Records for over 30 years.

2. Soft Starter installed in every corner of India for practically all the suitable applications.

3. Complete Customization of the Soft Starter, which includes
    i. The Digital Module.
ii. Design / Integration / Manufacturing of all equipments in single panel which saves, space, Cables, Servicing complications.

4. Service Support up to COMPONANT LEVEL- Like other manufactures (Branded), we never recommend replacement of the cards as it is an expensive option. We replace the faulty components where the maintenance / Repair cost is practically Nil.

5. Service Stations/ representatives / Dealers all over India.

6. Over 2000 units running round the clock without any trouble.

7. We offer not just the Soft Starter, but the complete starting solution including MCCB/ MPR/ fuses / Protections etc. in a single panel.

ENERGY SAVING AND POWER FACTOR IMPROVEMENT:-

The Self calibrating feature built into Microstart ascertains the motor parameters during every start and automatically adjusts the terminal voltage to match with the load demand, so that whenever the load on the motor is reduced, the motor terminal voltage under goes an appropriate decrease. This results in a corresponding reduction in voltage dependent losses. As a result, the power factor also improves simultaneously.

The actual energy saving is related to the extent of partial loading and its duration. Saving is significant for under loading to the extent of 50% or below and can be estimated if the load cycle and motor data are known. Compressors, bulk material conveyors, machine tools, modeling machines and wood working machines are some of the installations where considerable energy saving can be achieved.

Other financial saving also accrue by way of reduction in copper loss in the distribution network, lower energy bill in case of two part tariff due to lesser breakdowns, increase in the life of drive elements such as gears , belts, couplings.

Microstart responds to varying load torque instantaneously to ensure absolutely stable operation even under abrupt changes in load.

OPTIONAL CONTROLS

Top of ramp Signal
A special relay can be incorporated in the microstart control to provide a set of output contacts to signify the end of Ramp period. This contact can be used to energize a control contactor to initiate any other control action.

Current Limit Control
The microstart control provides a voltage Ramp. Addition of current Limit card will impose a preselected current limit during the starting process so that the set current is not exceeded at any time during the process of acceleration.

The current limit is adjustable from 150to 450 percent of motor rated current. This hold on the ramp is of motor rated current. This hold on the ramp is effective for a duration upto 20 seconds only. If the motor does not reach the full value enabling the motor to attain full speed. It is important that the current limit is set with due consideration to the acceleration torque requirement for a given drive so that the motor reaches full speed within the maximum hold period of twenty seconds. Voltage then rapidly rises to the full value.

Extended ramp time with Current Limit Feature:
A special extended ramp time feature (LRH) can be provided for specific application of high inertia load such as I. D. / F. D. fan. A total time of 240 seconds can be achieved in this version. However the basic model will be de-rated appropriately while using LRH feature.

Cushioned Stopping (Soft –Stop):
A special version of 3MC control allows the motor to be stopped in a gradual manner on receiving a stop command. The terminal voltage to motor is ramped down in a time twice the preset Ramp (up) time. This is very useful specifically in pump application to avoid ‘water hammer’ effect.
